 Facebook's first major change of 2023. Facebook is the world's most popular social media network, but its mobile app requires the use of Messenger to chat.

But 2023 is going to be the year of big change in Facebook in this regard. Facebook removed the in-app chat feature and introduced a separate app messenger for chats. But now Meta has decided to bring back the chat feature within Facebook.

Twitter user Matt Navarra tweeted a screenshot of the new chat option, sharing the social media network's new features.

This screenshot shows that the chats will be accessible by swiping to the right side of the Facebook app and there will be no need to open the Messenger app. This new feature is currently available to limited users and may be coming soon. Needless to say, this is a very important feature for users as they will be able to view and reply to chats and messages without leaving the Facebook app.
