Riyadh (Urdu Point Newspaper Latest. 07 March 2023) Saudi Arabia won the first position in the competition of fellowship doctors at the annual conference of the American Heart Association. According to Al-Arabiya News, among the doctors representing the country in the competition held in New Orleans, Louisiana, are Dr. Ibrahim Al-Harbi from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Muhammad Al-Hassan from the National Guard Hospital in Riyadh and the Military Hospital in Riyadh. Ahmed Al Hayzal was included.
It has been reported that the competition between the doctors participating in the competition was based on medical knowledge in the form of points for their medical skills, in which the Saudi doctors showed excellent performance and won the competition and making the country famous.
In this regard, the representative of the medical society in Saudi Arabia, Professor Dr. of the Department of "Arterial Catheterization and Valves" of King Saud University and National Guard Hospital's senior consultant, Dr. Muhammad Al-Barqi, said that this is the third time in the conferences of the American Heart Association. Al-Barqi cited Saudi Arabia's previous victory in two consecutive competitions at the society's conference in Egypt and Dubai, stressing that these victories demonstrate the excellence of the Saudi programs, quality of training, and medical education in Saudi Arabia.
