Google has completed the purchase of Fitbit.

 Google has completed the purchase of Fitbit. After the acquisition was completed, Google reiterated that it does not want to acquire users' health data, but only wants to sell Fitbit devices.

Google said in a statement that it wants to work with Fitbit to offer new services and products that provide users with greater knowledge, success, health, and happiness.

Google says that users' privacy and security is a sensitive matter and that they will give users full control over their data. Google says that it will keep user data collected by Fitbit separate from Google's data. Google announced it buy Fitbit in late 2019 for $1.72 billion.
