The report further stated that during the fiscal year ending March 2023, Apple exported more than $5 billion of iPhones from India to other countries, which was 4 times more than in 2021.
The report said that in 2022, around 7% of Apple's iPhones produced globally will be produced in India.
Earlier in 2021, only one percent of iPhones were produced in India.
The report further stated that Apple will try to manufacture the iPhone 15 series in China as well as in India.
If this happens, it will be the first time that new iPhones will be produced in 2 countries simultaneously.
This decision by Apple has been made at a time when the tension between Beijing and Washington is increasing.
