Not just humans, parrots also like to make video calls to friends to reduce loneliness, a recent study proved.
According to the foreign news agency, this research was done by the Northeastern University of the United States in collaboration with the University of Glasgow in Scotland. During the research, experts first taught pet parrots not to request a video call with another bird on a tablet.
After the experts allowed the parrots to do their own thing, they made 147 calls.
Parrots that were taught this made new friends, sang songs, and exhibited social behaviors.
Experts say that technology can become a means of communication between intelligent beings.
