Scientists have prepared a detailed picture of Mars after 6 years of hard work

After 6 years of hard work, scientists have created a detailed image of Mars. There is no Google Earth for Reich, so it was not possible to see our neighboring planet from home.

But after 6 years of hard work, American scientists have produced such a detailed 3D image of Mars that it looks like we are using Google Earth on Mars. This 3D tool is called Google CTX Mosaic of Mars. There are 5700 billion pixels of data.

According to the American space agency NASA, each pixel covers the volume of a parking lot on Mars.

Anyone can explore almost every part of Mars with this image and find out where craters have been created by asteroid impacts, where there are abandoned volcanoes, and where there were possibly water passages.

The researchers who developed the tool said the project aims to make Mars more accessible to researchers and the public. Where NASA's missions Curiosity and Perseverance are located.

More than 100,000 images taken by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter between 2006 and 2020 were used for its preparation.
