State Bank to release Rs 50 coin today The State Bank will release a commemorative coin of Rs 50 on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the 1973 Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In its statement, State Bank said that a commemorative coin of 50 rupees will be released on April 14 through all exchange counters and field offices of State Bank regarding According to State Bank, the weight of the 30 mm coin is 13.5 grams and the coin is an alloy of copper and nickel. The obverse of the coin features a crescent moon and a five-pointed star.
The reverse of the coin features a book image titled Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in English script and the period of the Golden Jubilee is 1973 to 2023.
In its statement, the State Bank said that the constitution approved by the National Assembly on 10 April 1973 is the highest document that guides us for political and cultural systems and this constitution defines the boundaries for the state and the citizens of Pakistan. It protects the fundamental rights of every citizen.
