TikTok has quietly added an interesting feature.

The animated video stickers feature for Direct Messages was quietly introduced in the social media app.

This feature was introduced in February but now the company has confirmed it.

These video stickers work like GIF images and users can create them themselves and send them in direct messages.

Users can use video stickers uploaded by others or create their own, the company said.

So how to create your sticker? You can then select a video from Liked, Posted and Favorite videos in Tik Tok. After selecting a video, you can then decide how much of it to use as a sticker, while You can also edit the text.

It will be possible to use this sticker repeatedly in direct messages or make it a part of Tik Tok's sticker store so that other people can use it as well.

If you don't want to create your own sticker, you can also search for and use them.

Keep in mind that TikTok is focusing a lot on direct messages so that users can spend more time in the app.

Earlier, the company changed the direct messaging settings to give users control over who can message them.
