Twitter's new alternative app is quickly becoming the center of attention
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey's new app, Blue Sky, is quickly winning over users of the Elon Musk-owned social media network. This new app was introduced for Android users in the past few days and it is available in Apple's app store since February. However, after being introduced to Android users, Blue Sky has become the focus of people's attention.
Checkmarks, subscriptions, and Elon Musk's controversial decisions on Twitter have many users looking for alternative platforms.
This is the reason why most people have turned to Blue Sky, a new social media platform similar to Twitter, which has the same features as Twitter.
Currently, BlueSky is dependent on an invite to become a user, but it has been downloaded millions of times.
In total, it has been downloaded 360 thousand times and more than 1 million people have registered their names on the waitlist to be a part of it.
Jack Dorsey has been working on the new app for a long time and unlike Twitter, the new social media platform stores user data on independent servers, meaning it cannot be accessed.
Jack Ducey has said in the past that he regrets commercializing Twitter and would prefer to work on an open-source project if given the chance. Work on the Blue Sky project began in 2019, and Twitter initially provided capital for the platform. The network claims that it will be completely independent of government influence.
Blue Sky CEO Jay Graber said some time ago that the social media network allows users to design their feeds.
