A 40-year-old woman in China has given up her job to become a full-time daughter to her parents, sparking a debate on social media.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, 40-year-old Nyan has been working for the past 15 years, and in 2022, she was on-call 24 hours a day due to which she suffered constant stress and her mental condition was deteriorating significantly.

Nayan's parents saw this condition of their daughter and said why don't you quit your job? We will support you financially.

Hearing this, Nian decided to quit her job, the woman's parents decided to give her 4000 yuan a month, after which Nian quit her job and became a full-time daughter of her parents.

This obviously meant that Nyan would no longer have to bear the cost of accommodation and would also save on food and household items.

After a year in her parents' employ, Nyan described her profession as 'full of love'.

She spends her day with her parents, she goes grocery shopping with them in the morning and cooks dinner with them every evening, takes them for a walk when needed, and even takes them on a daily basis. Dances along to keep them fit.

However, her parents constantly reassure her that if you find a suitable job, she can go for it, if you don't want to work, just stay at home and spend time with us.
