Erdogan or someone else? 3 million overseas Turkish citizens started voting

The voting process for Turkish citizens living in other countries of the world has started for the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey.  In other countries of the world, overseas Turkish citizens are casting their votes in presidential and parliamentary elections.

Turkish citizens will be able to cast their vote at polling stations located in Turkish embassies and other locations around the world until May 7. Voting for the parliamentary and presidential elections in Turkey are so important.

According to Turkish media, the voting process has started in many countries, including Finland and Sweden, and thousands of Turks have exercised their right to vote.

The polling process started today in Finland and there are 6791 registered voters, while in Sweden more than 42 thousand voters will exercise their right to vote. Long queues of voters have formed in both countries and there are night local time. Votes will be cast by 9 pm.

In addition, the voting process in Qatar and Lebanon has been ongoing since April 30, and approximately 18,000 Turks will exercise their right to vote in these countries.

Polling has started in many countries, including Germany, America, and Norway, and a large number of Turks live in Germany.

According to Turkish media, more than 3 million Turkish voters are registered worldwide, of which 278,000 people will exercise their right to vote for the first time.

Turkish presidential candidates
In the Turkish presidential elections, there are 4 candidates in the field, including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Kamal, the joint candidates of 6 opposition parties, Kamal Kilic Daroglu, Sinan Oghan, and Muharram Anje.

Apart from this, 24 political parties and 151 independent candidates are in the fray for the 600 seats of the Turkish Parliament.
