Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that politics is being played on the prices of petroleum products. We took difficult decisions to steer the country's economy in the right direction.

Talking to the media, Maryam Aurangzeb said that the coalition government did not take decisions to get cheap fame, 15 months ago the Muslim League (N) and the coalition parties decided to save the country.

The Minister of Information said that today we can hold our heads high and say that the decision was made for the stability of the country.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that when we came to power, the country was on the verge of bankruptcy. Incompetents and thieves brought the country to the brink of default to save their politics.

He said that Chairman PTI has spoiled relations with friendly countries. PTI violated the IMF program it had signed.

Maryam Aurangzeb said that the Prime Minister restored the suspended program of the IMF to save the country's reputation. We will eliminate the mines they have planted within the economy. We will take the country on the road of development.

He said that there are many reasons for the increase in the prices of petroleum products. We are in standby arrangement with IMF. The caretaker setup will be decided by the prime minister and the coalition parties.
