While talking to the Al-Akhbariya channel, he said that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has written instructions to the mosques across the country that the loudspeakers of the mosques should be used only for adhan and iqamat and their volume should not be more than one-third. For this purpose, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah and Guidance, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, has issued a circular to all branches of the ministry, in which mosques and While presenting the outline of necessary preparations for the worshipers, it has been said that fasting people should break their fasts in designated places in the courtyards of mosques, which are the responsibility of Imams and Muezzins. Ensure cleanliness and no temporary rooms or tents are set up for this purpose.
The circular asks imams and muezzins to follow strict guidelines and prioritize the needs of worshipers during Ramadan, highlighting the need for them to be present throughout the month of Ramadan unless, In exigent circumstances, a person is assigned to work for a period of absence, it must be with the approval of the branch of the Ministry in the area and the deputy must not be in breach of responsibility.
Furthermore, the circular calls for adherence to the dates of adhan according to the Umm al-Qara calendar, it also urges the imams to take into account the conditions of the people in the Taraweeh prayer, the Prophet in the Qunoot supplication in the Taraweeh prayer. Follow the instructions of the Prophet (p.b.u.h.), avoid long prayers, and read some useful books for the congregation of the mosque.
Apart from this, the circular also emphasized the importance of not installing cameras in mosques or collecting financial donations for Iftar and other projects and directed the attendants of mosques and maintenance institutions to ensure that women in mosques do not Redouble their efforts and work to clean and prepare the mosques while ensuring the cleanliness of the prayer rooms. Mosque attendants have also been directed to follow the instructions, and submit daily reports of their visits to them while the circular also urges worshipers to keep children safe during prayers.
