The promotion of technical education is the need of the hour, said the caretaker provincial minister.

 PESHAWAR, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Industry, Commerce, Technical Education, and Revenue Adnan Jalil has said that the promotion of technical education is the most important need of the hour, solutions to the unresolved problems of the authority. Actions are being taken on a priority basis. He expressed these views while presiding over the review meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education Authority in the committee room of the Industries Department on Tuesday.

Secretary Industries, MDKP Teuta, officials of STUET, and other officers were also present on this occasion. The meeting was given a detailed briefing on the performance of the Technical Education Authority and other issues. The meeting was also apprised of the issues and suggestions faced by the authority regarding the performance of the institute and the steps taken so far.


Addressing the meeting, Adnan Jalil said that the provincial government is taking all possible steps to provide public service and relief to the people.

He directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education Authority to take concrete steps for the promotion of technical education on modern lines and said that all institutions should play their role in providing relief to the people. He said that technical education and the technical workforce have a very important role in the development and prosperity of the province. He has assured the authority that the provincial government will ensure full support for the promotion of technical education.
