In this experience, small insect-like structures are seen moving in front of the eyes. This often happens when you look at a bright and coherent or smooth object like the sky, snow, or a white screen for a while.
It is called Muscae volitantes or flying flies in scientific language but these 'bugs' are not a trick of your eyes they are actually present and moving inside the eyes.
The front of your eye is the cornea and behind it is the thin layer of the aqueous humor, which is basically a small collection of fluid that contains tissue, red blood cells, or protein particles.
It is the gel-like fluid between the lens and the retina. During this process, many times the particles or flying flies present in the gel-like fluid cast a shadow on the retina.
By doing this strange insect-like images appear before our eyes.
Usually, this is not a major problem and there is no need to worry as these 'bugs' disappear after a few seconds.
