Saudi Arabia evacuated 150 people including Saudi and Pakistani nationals stuck in Sudan

Saudi Arabia safely evacuated more than 150 citizens of different countries, including Saudi and Pakistani citizens, trapped in civil war-stricken Sudan.

According to Arab media, in the first announced withdrawal since the start of the civil war, Saudi Arabia has managed to evacuate more than 150 foreign diplomats, staff, and citizens of other countries, including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, from Sudan.

According to the Saudi Department of Foreign Affairs, with the help of other military agencies, the Saudi Navy has evacuated 91 Saudi citizens, through three ships. Citizens have been safely delivered to Jeddah.

Without releasing more details, the Saudi Foreign Ministry has only said that the people evacuated from Sudan include women and children, including diplomats and civilians, and that measures are being taken to bring all the evacuated people to their country.

In the videos released by the Saudi media, it can be seen that the Saudi authorities are distributing flowers, sweets, and other items to the passengers disembarking from the boats after being expelled from Sudan.

According to the Saudi Department of Foreign Affairs, all the people first arrived at the Port of Sudan as a convoy, after which they were transported to Jeddah by three ships of the Saudi Navy.

It should be noted that this is the first successful evacuation operation to evacuate foreigners trapped there after the civil war in Sudan.
