The screening of the film 'Pushpa 2' in the Indian state of Maharashtra led to the arrest of a most wanted gangster and drug smuggler.

According to Indian media reports, the most wanted gangster and drug smuggler Vishal Meshram was arrested during the screening of the film Pushpa 2 in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Thursday.

Reports indicate that the wanted suspect was watching a movie at the time of his arrest and was arrested by the police in a sudden raid. Despite the police's entry, the movie continued.

Reports say the police traced the accused's movements related to watching the film. When he came to watch the movie, his car tires were punctured as he entered the cinema. During the film's climax, the police entered the cinema hall and arrested him.

According to reports, the accused had been on the run for 10 months and is wanted in 27 cases. The accused has been charged with 2 murders, drug trafficking, and assault on police.

It should be noted that the Indian Telugu film industry's film 'Pushpa 2' has so far grossed more than 1,500 crore Indian rupees in 18 days, including in India.

The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika in the lead roles.
