 The decision makers were temporarily confused by the surprising and swift move. Actually, their strategy was to tire the protesters and secondly to keep them hungry as much as possible, so all the food and drink shops along the route were closed. If there was an operation on the way, there was fear of loss of lives due to the large number, so it was thought that the trap of D Chowk would be the best.

 On the other hand, as soon as Bushra Bibi and the protestors entered Islamabad, their morale was high, they felt that they had won, there were shouts of wah wah for Bibi from all sides, they were cheering for victory. 

We in the media were giving the impression that passion, fanaticism won and restrictions were defeated. PTI had won, the state and the government had lost. Meanwhile, the monitoring of the crowd continued, the number of protesters remained between 30 and 35 thousand until they reached D Chowk.

 A meeting was held in which the situation was reviewed and it was finally decided that the operation has to be done tonight.

 The number has reduced from 35,000 to 15,000. Preparations for the operation were immediately started.
