Development in the case of murder of a student in Punjab University, main accused arrested

The police arrested Huzaifa, the main suspect involved in the murder of the victim, and  started the investigation.

An important development in the case of the murder of a student in Punjab University, the police arrested the main accused Huzaifa involved in the murder of Muqtul Ammar. After the arrest of Huzaifa, the investigation has been started.

The suspect who took Ammar to the hospital in an injured condition has already been arrested. According to the police, the suspect Huzaifa had escaped after the incident. In the murder case, the police have so far detained two accused, Dilawar and Huzaifa, students of Punjab University. The police say that the deceased Ammar was hit by a bullet fired from inside the car instead of the motorcyclists.

According to police sources, Dilawar was driving while Amar was sitting on the other front seat. A student named Huzaifa was sitting in the back seat who was also carrying a weapon. The shooting incident took place near the sports gymnasium of the university on Thursday evening where Ammar was shot dead while sitting in the car. The victim was targeted while sitting on the front seat of the car.

According to the sources, Ammar was injured by a bullet from inside the car and Huzaifa fled from the spot after the shooting incident. The second friend of the victim, Dilawar, reached the hospital by taking Ammar. It should be remembered that two days ago, a student of the university was killed in a firing in Punjab University. However, the spokesperson of Punjab University denied the incident of firing in the university.

The police also said that no evidence of murder was found inside the university. A protest was held in Punjab University against the death of the student. Pots placed in front of the Vice-Chancellor's office were broken, while protests were also held on Canal Road, where there was a heavy traffic jam.

According to the FIR, the student was shot by 2 friends sitting inside the car instead of the motorcyclists. The police detained one accused and started investigation. According to the FIR, Rana Amar, a student of Gender Studies Department, was shot dead. Three friends Dilawar, Huzaifa and Amar were inside the car. It was stated in the FIR that Amar was injured in the firing inside the car and died in the hospital.
