It is stated that in the next step, after entering the required information on the portal, upload the application by paying the prescribed fee, after receiving the application, the system will automatically review all the documents and send the exit permit to the email. , the duration of the exit permit is 14 days during which the permit holder must leave the UAE, the exit permit can also be issued through the smart app.

The Immigration Authority added that the Dubai government has given illegal immigrants until December 31 to leave the country or rectify their legal affairs, and those who have obtained an exit permit and that the prescribed 14 days. If they do not exit Dubai within the deadline, they should either legalize their stay even after the permit expires or exit before December 31 because Illegal immigrants living in Dubai after the deadline will face criminal charges punishable by imprisonment and fines.
