In addition, the Saudi Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty against a criminal in the Makkah area, in which it said that a Pakistani citizen, Akhtar Munir Zaheer, was arrested by the security authorities. He was accused of smuggling and sent to the competent court, on conviction, a sentence was passed against him which sentenced him to death, the accused appealed against his conviction but the sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court. To enforce the decision A royal order was issued and the death sentence of the criminal Akhtar Munir Zaheer was executed.
