Riyadh Metro is ready to run, ticket prices have been announced

Riyadh Metro will be officially available for public to  use from December 1



The Riyadh Metro is ready to run in the capital of Saudi Arabia, in which the price of the tickets for the journey has been announced. According to Saudi media, the price of the ticket for Riyadh Metro starts from 4 Rials and goes up to 140 Rials. The ticket price for a two-hour period of travel in Riyadh Metro is 4 Rials. Tickets for the first  3 days are available for only  20 Rials. Tickets will be available for 40 Rials for 7 days and 140 Rials for 30 days.

It has been reported that children below the age of six will not need a ticket. Tickets for the Riyadh Metro service can be purchased through the 'Drab' app available on smart phones. It is being told that Riyadh Metro will be available for public use from December 1, this service will run daily from 6 am to midnight, Riyadh Metro has 6 tracks with a total length of 176 kilometers, the number of stations throughout this track is 85. It includes 4 main stations, out of total 6 tracks of the metro service, 3 tracks have been inaugurated in the first phase, the 'Blue Line' from Shar'a Al Alia to Al Bata, the 'Yellow Line'. Line' will run from King Khalid International Airport and 'Purple Line' from Abdul Rahman Bin Auf Road to Sheikh Hassan Bin Hussain Road, starting from Sunday, December 1.


It has been learned that three more tracks will be opened on December 15, including 'Red Line' Shah Abdullah Road, 'Green Line' Shah Abdul Aziz Road, in addition to the service on 'Orange Line' starting from January 5, 2025. Ga which will provide travel facility for Madinah Munora highway.
