 I will personally review the security of Ashura Day, IG Sindh

Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has said that he will personally review the security measures regarding Ashura Day.

Regarding the security of Ashura Day, he said that he will review the security monitoring from the central command and control room.

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said on the security measures taken on the day of Ashura that the security related police is always diligent and ready. Snipers and commandos posted on tall buildings will be alert.

IG Sindh while issuing instructions said that the SOPs related to the vehicles involved in the main processions should be followed. Physical searching of the participants of the main procession and majlis should be ensured with the support of the organisers.

IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon says that checking and blockade should be tightened on the routes entering Sindh from other provinces.
