OIC's decision to suspend Sweden's special envoy status

Karachi (News Desk) Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has decided to suspend the status of Sweden's special envoy. In this regard, the General Secretariat of the OIC has informed the Government of Sweden of the decision that its Special Envoy status is being terminated. The extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the OIC recommended the termination of the Special Envoy status of Sweden. At the meeting, the OIC welcomed the protests by some member states against repeated attacks on holy places. and Islamic symbols by the Swedish authorities, and reject such humiliating actions by the states under the pretext of freedom of expression.
