The importance of Javeed building in this era. ( Allama Iqbal museum )

The main thing in this house that first catches your attention is the statue of Allama Iqbal standing on a plinth on the lawn outside. This is in 1977 when the birth centenary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal was being celebrated in Pakistan, accordingly, the government of Pakistan took over Iqbal Manzil Sialkot, Iqbal's residence on McLeod Road and Javed Manzil located on Allama Iqbal Road in Lahore. I thought of taking it and saving it.

This museum was inaugurated by then-President Zia-ul-Haq.
In May 1935, the poet of the East Allama Iqbal, and his family moved from the house on McLeod Road to Javed Manzil, which was built under his supervision by his elder brother Sheikh Atta Muhammad.
. In 1935, Sardar Bipham also died in this house and this house was also built by him on his wish.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mother of the Nation Ms. Fatima Jinnah also came to meet him in the same house. He loved this house so much that he did not leave it until his death in 1938.
Allama Iqbal named this beautiful house after his son Javed in his last age and today Javed Manzil of seven canals is known as "Allama Iqbal Museum".

The Government of Japan has taken a positive step in this regard by providing a large sum of money for Iqbal Museum from Japan's Cultural Fund for the provision of showcases and air-conditioners and related equipment and other matters. After the museum was prepared, it was handed over to the Department of Archeology, Government of Pakistan, which is still in its custody. The main thing in the house that first catches your attention is the statue of Allama Iqbal standing on a plinth on the lawn outside.

This simple and attractive white building, Iqbal Museum, consists of
9 galleries. The museum has many items of Allama, which were donated to the museum by his son Javed Iqbal. These items include Iqbal's passport, signature stamp, wallet with visiting cards, bank book, spectacles, buttons, rings, cuff links, ashtray, turban, shirt, shoes, coat, towels, sticks, ties, collar, gloves, Kulahs, lungis, lawyer coats, Jinnah caps, hot suits were sewn from Regent Street in London.
Pashmina Sherwani, Hyderabad Deccan Prime Minister Maharaja Sarkarshan Parishad sent carpets, pens, manuscripts, letters, documents, passports, degrees and certificates, photographs, a gold watch, and various other items. Models of important buildings related to Iqbal are also kept in one room, including Scotch Mission High School Sialkot, Iqbal Manzil Sialkot, and Government College Lahore.

The three rooms of this house have been kept intact, in which there is a living room where Iqbal's cot, bookcase, kerosene lamp, shaving equipment, and medicines are kept. Vasra room is the drawing room where sofas, chairs, and pictures of Iqbal are kept.
The last room is the dining room where there is a large dining table, chairs, dressing table, cupboards, and beautiful china and metalware that you used. After the renovation in 2015, the museum is in very good condition and the cleaning system here is also commendable. Undoubtedly, the Department of Archeology is performing its responsibility well.
In 1977, the government of Pakistan declared it a national heritage.
