We will win this war against corruption

Respected Irfan Siddiqui writes well. His writing has innovative thoughts and few words. However, a serious columnist like him cannot be expected to deliberately ignore the facts while making crude accusations about someone else. The sides will do it.

In his column for Daily Jang on July 11, 2023 entitled "Yeh Munsif Kab Katahre Me Ayege", he has completely ignored the facts while referring to Jamaat-e-Islami. Filed the first petition.

Assembly, Senators, Ministers, Mayor Karachi Abdul Sattar Afghani, Nazim Karachi Nimatullah Khan, there is no false accusation of corruption against any person. Since Jamaat-e-Islami was running the movement of Corruption Free Pakistan, so when Panama Leaks came out, Jamaat-e-Islami released Panama Leaks. filed an application in the Supreme Court against the first, in which it was said that the National Accountability Institutions have not done their work, for which they should be questioned and they should be asked to identify those responsible and punish them. Respected Irfan Siddiqui's statement is also contrary to the facts that three days later, after raising five major objections, "it was returned as inefficient, wasteful, hollow, meaningless, frivolous and frivolous". There is absolutely no such thing. Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan had made these demands to the Supreme Court to complete the investigation against 436 people. There is no false accusation of corruption against anyone including Karachi Nimatullah Khan. (a) A three-member commission headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan and comprising two other judges of the Supreme Court should be formed to take steps to investigate the assets of the 436 people involved in the Panama Leaks.

(b) This commission may form a committee of experts to examine the affairs of offshore companies and their accounts in detail.

(c) This committee shall be responsible for verifying the transfer of funds to offshore accounts, remittances and then transfer of funds from the accounts, use of remittances for purchasing properties abroad and other investments.

(d) The Commission shall direct the respondent to give irrevocable immunity, so that the investigation process can proceed.

On November 7, 2016, in the Panama Leaks case, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan's counsel filed an additional TORS-based miscellaneous petition in Jamaat-e-Islami's Constitutional Petition No. 28/2016.

In the miscellaneous application, it was said that Jamaat-e-Islami had previously filed constitutional application number 28. In the application, it has been said that many commissions have been formed in the judicial history of Pakistan and their recommendations are also available, but no final result could be obtained. Therefore, it is necessary to establish such a commission for inquiry and trial that the names of those who have been found in the Panama Papers, who have committed illegal actions, must be exposed. I said that...

1. The proceedings of the commission should be open to the public. 2. The commission should complete the investigation in at least 25 days.

On this occasion, the lawyers of Jamaat-e-Islami emphasized that the court should widen the scope of the investigation against all 436 people. But the court said that we cannot open such a Pandora's box.

After hearing the arguments, the bench finally asked Jamaat-e-Islami about the request regarding the accountability of all, in which Jamaat-e-Islami's position was that this bench should hear this request after this case, but after the bench did not agree, Jamaat-e-Islami Left to the discretion of the bench, on which the bench separated the old application of Jamaat-e-Islami and sent it to the Chief Justice of Pakistan. The same application is now being heard by a two-member bench after such a long time.

On June 9, 2023, the hearing of the Panama case was held again. The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq Sahib was present at this hearing. On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, Ishtiaq Ahmad Raja, Advocate appeared before the Supreme Court. The 2-member bench adjourned the hearing indefinitely.

This is the actual situation of this case....we are still fighting a judicial, legal, parliamentary and public war against corruption of every era and every individual. And we believe that God willing, we will win this war against corruption!
