According to the released report, a total of 12 thousand 809 private schools have been established across Sindh, out of which 11 thousand 736 schools are active while 1 thousand 73 schools have been closed.

According to the report, out of the active schools, 10,282 schools are registered with the Education Department and 591 are unregistered while the registration process of 863 is still going on.

The report published regarding the census of private schools states that 8 thousand 126 schools are established in rented buildings while 2 thousand 963 are established in private buildings while only 131 schools have been allotted government buildings.According to the report, among the active schools in the province, there are 174 boys, 175 girls and 11 thousand 387 joint schools, of which 1 thousand 274 primary, 553 middle, 2 thousand 784 elementary, 6 thousand 546 secondary and 606 higher secondary and O/A. There are level schools.

According to the released report, 11 thousand 231 of the active schools are only schools, while 474 schools and madrasas and 32 madrasas are also included.

Among them, 10 thousand 776 English, 469 Urdu and 491 Sindhi medium schools, in which a total of 39 lakh 41 thousand 938 students are studying. Among them are 21 lakh 37 thousand 605 male students and 18 lakh 4 thousand 333 female students.

There are 2 lakh 25 thousand 158 teachers in private active schools of the province.
